Race night

Wednesday 22nd APRIL:
AN EVENING AT TAUNTON RACES. 

Our very popular annual visit Coach leaves Whitchurch (via Charmouth) at 3.30 pm and gets back around 9.00 pm.  

Cost £30 per person (£28 for Members of The Friends of St Candida) includes Grandstand ticket, Race Card, return coach travel – and exceptionally unreliable tips.

Sunday 12th July: FOURTH ANNUAL ALICE DILKE MEMORIAL CONCERT: The Divertimento Piano Trio. Programme includes piano trios by Beethoven and Mendelssohn.Tickets £10 on the door, to include Afternoon Tea.  3 pm, Church

Sunday 6th October: FREE EXCHANGE CAFE - Fresh croissants, coffee, newspapers,
friendly conversation and the exchange table. Children's story-telling with Ros (11 am).
10.30 - 12 noon Church

Saturday 12th October: DECORATE THE CHURCH for Harvest Festival: Bring flowers,
fruit and vegetables for the decorations or join us for coffee and a chat. 10 am Church

Sunday 13th October: HARVEST SONGS OF PRAISE 11 am Church

Friday 18th October: GRAND QUIZ NIGHT by The Friends of St Candida. Lots of
prizes, Raffle, Licensed Bar. Great fun in a good cause. Teams of four – call Alan (01297

Monday 21st October: WHITCHURCH FILM SOCIETY, showing Enigma.

Actors, Musicians and Singers, Dancers, Comedians and Impersonators, Presdigitators, Acrobats and Jugglers, PERFORMERS of ALL AGES are invited to compete for the edification, enlightenment and general entertainment of their peers
