NOVEMBER VILLAGE EVENTS - INCLUDING BONFIRE NIGHT

Tuesday 5^th November: GUY FAWKES NIGHT! Parade of Guys, Fireworks, Bonfire. From 6.30pm Five Bells

Sunday 10^th November: REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY: Ceremony and Service.  

10.45 am War Memorial, followed by short service in Church.

Saturday 16^th November: VILLAGE BARN DANCE following on the huge success of last year.  Callers and musicians from the Wyld Band.  Bring and Share Finger Food Buffet Supper.  Great fun for dancers and non-dancers alike. £5 on the door; proceeds to The Friends of St Candida. Monday 25^th November: WHITCHURCH FILM SOCIETY, showing The Eagle Huntress. 6.45 pm Village Hall 

CHURCH CLOSED FROM THE 4TH-9TH OF NOV- UPDATE 4TH OF NOV CHURCH NOW OPEN

PLEASE NOTE THE CHURCH WILL BE CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FROM MONDAY 4TH TILL FRIDAY 8TH OF NOVEMBER, THIS IS DUE TO SOME WORK BEING UNDERTAKEN ON THE FLOOR.

THE CHURCH WILL OPEN AS NORMAL AGAIN ON SATURDAY THE 9TH OF NOVEMBER.

Unfortunately the work in the church has had to be cancelled because too many of the woodblocks were damaged. and we will have to rethink.

So please note that the church is no longer closed.
