MARCH

Sunday 11th March:
SHORT & SWEET FAMILY SERVICE FOR MOTHERING SUNDAY:
A jolly, half hour get-together for children, their parents and anyone who just enjoys it!
The children will be making posies and everyone will be decorating a heart tree for
their Mothers. Stories and refreshments. 11am, Church
Sunday 11th March: MOTHERING SUNDAY LUNCH – special menu available (and
bookings) from Pat/Stacey on 01297 489262. Five Bells from 12 noon
Thursday 22nd March: CANTAMUS IN CONCERT. Our fine local choir present their
Spring programme, “Lift up your voice”, a celebration of sacred music. £10 on the door.

Friday 23rd March: THE KNIFEMAN COMETH to the Five Bells Car Park. Bring all your dull blades, if not your wits, to be sharpened! 9.45 am, Five Bells
Palm Sunday 25th March: ANNUAL PROCESSION through the village to the Church, led by the Ryall Donkeys (weather and temperament permitting!). 10.45 am, Five Bells
Monday 26th March: WHITCHURCH FILM SOCIETY. Details 01297 480898,

APRIL


Sunday 1st April:
EASTER SUNDAY EUCHARIST. 11 am, Church
Friday 20th April: THE KNIFEMAN COMETH to the Five Bells Car Park. Bring all your
dull blades, if not your wits, to be sharpened! 10 am, Five Bells
Sunday 22nd April: CHORAL EVENSONG, with the Whitchurch Occasional Choir.
6pm, Church
Wednesday 25th APRIL: AN EVENING AT TAUNTON RACES. Our very popular
annual visit - Coach leaves Whitchurch (via Charmouth) at 3.30 pm and gets back
around 9.00 pm. Cost includes Grandstand tickets, Race Card, return coach travel – and
exceptionally unreliable tips! £30 per person. (£28 – Friends of St Candida)
