NOVEMBER
Saturday 4th November: GUY FAWKES NIGHT! Parade of Guys, Fireworks, Bonfire.
From 6.30pm Five Bells
Sunday 5th November: FREE EXCHANGE CAFE - Fresh croissants, coffee, newspapers
and friendly conversation, as well as the exchange table and children's story-telling with
Ros (at 11am). 10.30 am - 12 noon Church LAST FREE EXCHANGE CAFE OF 2017
Monday 6th November: CHAR VALLEY PARISH COUNCIL ANNUAL FINANCE
MEETING, where the budget for 2018-2019 is set. All residents are welcome to attend.
7.30 pm Village Hall
Sunday 12th November: REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY: Ceremony and Service.
10.45 am War Memorial, followed by short service in Church
Sunday 12th November: THE DIVERTIMENTO TRIO returns to play in the Church.
Music by Mozart and Schubert. Tickets £10 on the door. 3 pm Church
Friday 17th November: THE KNIFEMAN COMETH to the Five Bells Car Park. Bring all
your dull blades to be sharpened! 10 am Five Bells
Thursday 23rd November: VILLAGE HALL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. Come and
have your say! All welcome. 7 pm Village Hall
Sunday 26th November: SHORT & SWEET CHILDREN’S SERVICE - a jolly get-together
for children, their parents and anyone who just enjoys it! Making traditional Christmas
Puddings on Stir Up Sunday. 11 am Church
Monday 27th November: WHITCHURCH FILM SOCIETY – “City of Lost Children”.
